FRAY Show weaves together hip hop music, dance, rap and stunning visuals in an innovative stage production exploring the relationship between two deeply bonded brothers whose connection unravels when one is drawn into a growing obsession with a digital AI character while the other is swept into an exciting dance scene.
FRAY is at the centre of a connected ecosystem that includes our in-person dance battle series and our online dance battle experience on the Roblox platform. Together, these three offerings create engaging ways for fans to connect, share, compete and play - before, during and after the curtain falls.
FRAY premiered to sold-out audiences at Sadler's Wells Lilian Baylis Theatre in June 2024, attracting a diverse, multi-generational audience drawn from both theatre and hip hop communities.

FRAY follows Tullio and Ziya, two brothers whose close bond frays as the older one is drawn into an alluring virtual world by “Luscious,” an AI character he has prompted into existence.

In Development
FRAY is entering an exciting new phase of development with Lady Leshurr - MOBO Award winner, British Empire Medal recipient and one of the most distinctive voices in UK hip hop. She will collaborate on new music and lyrics for the show, create “Luscious,” the digital character at the center of the story, and play the role of “Jukebox” on stage.
